Millions of people all over the world are currently searching for a quick weight loss plan so that they may enjoy the benefits of a happy healthy lifestyle. Since no two people are the same there is no ‘ones size fits all’ solution to this problem. Indeed the amount of success you may have with a particular weight loss plan is very much dependent upon a number of different factors.
The latest concepts of weight loss products and programs have shifted through a series of researches and tests. Earlier it was believed that diets were the best ways to lose weight and elimination of foods like fats and carbohydrates from the body was completely normal. But then it was seen that the body does require all nutrients for healthy functioning and though some nutrients are required less as compared to the others they are essential for the body. Hence the concept of dieting was slowly taken over by healthy eating and including healthy fats and carbs in the diet.

Want to be a surrogate, But married and had previous complicated pregnacy.?
I was wondering what other people think about this. My dear friend is un-able to have children of her own. Due to severe cysts and scar tissue. I had a baby a year ago, and had a some-what complicated pregnancy. Preeclampsia, induced labor, 38+ hours and emergency C-section. But having a baby was so wonderful and I agonize that my friend will never be able to experience this. I would love so much to be a surrogate mother for her and have her baby, so she could at least experience it second hand. But I haven’t really talked to anyone about this, including her or my husband. Im not sure how I would bring it up, or if I got her hopes up and my husband totally rejected the idea. I know I would have to have another c-section with any more pregnancies I have because no doctors around my area are willing to due a VBAC due to insurance. I was wondering what other people thought, and if anyone had any suggestions about how I might go about doing this. Thanks in advance!
That is a very woderful thing you want to do, giving your friend the greatest gift she could ever have. There are several things to consider though..
First, yourself. Do research, talk to others, both who have been surrogates, and who have had thier children that way. Sit down and REALLY think…after nine months, would you be able to simply hand the child over?
After that, I would talk to your husband before your friend. Chances are, if he veto’s it, it doesnt matter what anyone else says. Explain to him all of the pros and cons, and dont pressure him to make a decision right away…these things take a while.
After that, I would talk to your doctor, see what he says. I’m sorry about the VBAC ban, my place is the same way, though if I am still here when I have another baby there are some legal loopholes and steps you could take…just search for VBAC with keywords like legal or ban and you should find several resources. Either way, make sure they dont think your previous problems would be an issue.
At that point, I would bring it up to your friend. Again, do not pressure her for an answer right away. I might bring it up by asking if she has heard of/considered a surrogate mother. If she seems positive about the concept, let her know you would be willing and she neednt hesitate to ask as soon as she and her husband are ready.
Good luck to you, and let me know how things go if you like, I really hope this all turns out well for the both of you and am interested in seeing how everyone else will respond.

OMG I might be pregnant i’m 16 and no period and…….just wondering?
I’m not trying to complain or anything. I answer these questions all the time. But for those who have asked or answer or might know the answer to this question…why do people ask medical questions, like pregnancy for example, on here when in the end we could say “fly to saturn” and they’ll automatically take a home pregnancy test or go to doctor?
It’s like…if you’ve missed your period, if you have the symptoms, if your stomach gained like 20 pound, is round and ur feeling pressure, it’s like…don’t you think it’s time to go to doctor or take a test? y spend the extra time asking people online what you’re already gonna do anyways? jwwww.
pregnancy symptoms can mimick symptoms of other illnesses or diseases and vice-versa. i’ve been in the situation myself where i’ve been late for a period and wondered ‘am i pregnant’ but later found out it was a sinus infection or stress or a gallbladder issue and a day or two later i got my period. as women, and these days with girls gettting pregnant at alarming ages (11/12/13), we worry every month unless your practicing abstinence. people probably just want some reassurance and to see what other people think.

Shoulder pain related to pregnancy?
Yesterday I woke up with extreme pain in the shoulder on the left side of my body. It hurts at any times no matter what I do. So I called Tele-Health Canada today (That is, if you are in the United States, a toll free number you can call to find out whether to go to hospital or not) and told them what was happening. First I asked if I had never had a heart attack, which i havent then told them I was pregnant 18 weeks they have started asking me tons of questions about my pregnancy, as if it were a pregnancy eptopic or was in danger of a false layer (all of which I am not), but still a little freaked me out. So I guess this brings me to my question. Has anyone ever had pain in the shoulder, while the back wall? Have you heard talk about the shoulder pain is a symptom of something wrong with the pregnancy? Thanks in advance!
Shoulder pain can sometimes be a sign of pregnancy etopic but are beyond that stage. The funniest thing in the body, is that pain is expressed through the body. His ill shoudler neuropathic pain can be caused by or maybe just because, in grace. It's hard to say. I want to raise the issue at the next appointment, but there is nothing to fear immediately. If you are bleeding or cramping terribly, head as soon as possible to the emergency room. If not, do not worry too much.

This is my first pregnancy and I have been trying to be very concious about what goes into my mouth. I have absolutely NO cravings and indulge every once in a while (as I did before I was pregnant). Why the heck have I already gained this much weight? I was so used to stepping on the scale and having my weight be either the SAME or a pound or two less.. but now it’s always up a pound.
I do realize every woman is different, should I just apply this to me? Because I promise you I am not eating like a cow! I eat healthy meals… nothing out of the ordinary. I told myself when I got pregnant that I wasn’t going to turn into a fat pregnant woman – so I bought nutrition books for expecting women – for the most part, the meals they recommend were the meals I already eat so I haven’t made any huge changes to my diet.
I am so depressed.
Ok take a deep breath! First off you are doing just fine as far as your weight gain goes. Any reasonable OBGYN will allow you to gain 1 pound a week average. Now you may gain 2 of that in 1 week, 1 then next week and another two the following week or you could gain a steady pound every week, it’s always going to change. As long as it all works out to about 1 pound a week average as you go along you are doing great.
Yes every woman is different but ALL women’s blood and fluid volumes drastically increase as their pregnancy goes along thus adding weight to the scale where you might think is from what you are putting in your mouth. It;s probably not your diet unless you are consuming alot of salt (makes you retain water which makes your weight temporarily go up) or are eating alot of junk – which you say you aren’t. Your baby isn’t quite a pound yet but will be soon enough and will make the scale go up accordingly from there too. You have to keep in mind that your uterus and placenta all play a part in what weight you’ve gained as well.
To give you a comparison (even though that really doesn’t apply with pregnancy because each is so different) but I probably have a few more splurges than you but eat pretty healthy, get moderate exercise, and started off as a smaller plus size woman (a curvy, not fat size 14/16) am 33 years old and am 24 weeks pregnant now. I have gained 18 pounds to date. My OB is totally fine with it and says I am on track.
I get alot of leg/feet swelling which of course attributes to a bit of the gain too so I don’t freak out. I just do the best I can. I plan on breastfeeding once my daughter is here so that will help with weightloss because BF’ing burns TONS of calories!!
If you are doing all you can and are still seeing the scale go up and it’s upsetting you then stop weighing yourself at home. Just get weighed at your OB appts and ask the doc not to tell you what it is unless it’s an issue. The more you keep your mind off of your weight then more you can actually enjoy your pregnancy!

I had two positive and two negative HPT, a chemical documentation and I am 2wks later?
I first made a home pregnancy test when I was a day late, because I'm always regular, has been positive, then I went to the pharmacy and offered me a free which was negative the next day. So I called the documentation and I recommend using a sample of urine in the morning the next day, which I did, but also were negative. Pending the outcome of the documentation, I am a little impatient and not another HPT the day after he tested positive, so I'm confused or am I pregnant?
If the test says you are, then you are! I would say a blood test will tell all! Well, get tested again. Good good luck
