workouts during pregnancy?
i am ttc, and I have been working out and i want to continue, does anyone else workout and if so what kind of workouts do you do? I ordered a yoga dvd to do, its for pregnant woman….
Since you arent pregnant yet then you can exercise as much as you want. Even during the first few months exercise does not have to be very limited. Once you get bigger though it will be harder to do certain things. Yoga is a good one. Walking or swimming would be great too.

Yoga during pregnancy?
I have no prenatal yoga class in my area, so I started a yoga class once or twice times week. I told my teacher that I'm 5 months pregnant, but she does not seem to understand about what poses the most or which are to be avoided during pregnancy. If anyone has any I would appreciate information. I'm still learning the names of the poses, so even a good site with images of what I can do would be great! Thanks!
This site should help you: Good luck http://www.abc-of-yoga.com/yoga-and-health/yoga-for-pregnancy.asp

Does anyone know where I can download free sounds of nature?
I started doing yoga for pregnancy I feel great. The DVD plays sounds of nature that I dream to help me sleep and relax and think a great idea. In particular, I am looking for a place where I can download sounds of the forest, the sounds of ocean, etc. None of the background music. I tried Limewire and found nothing. If you can help me, please let me know!

Choosing Pilates Videos for Pregnancy
Are you thinking about using Pilates videos for pregnancy? Taking a class or would like to find out a little more information? Well I have written this article with you in mind. I hope that you find it useful.
Looking for an exercise program while you’re pregnant can be somewhat like choosing chocolates in a candy store. You don’t know if you’re going to like it once you buy it or if it’s going to satisfy your very individual needs and tastes. Pregnant women who are addicted to their weekly Pilates workouts don’t need to give them up, they just need to find a workout that takes their new status as a pregnant woman into consideration.
For the sake of convenience, many pregnant women choose to do their workouts at home with one of the many videos or books available on the subject. The question is which one? It’s important to choose a workout that will keep you in shape and yet not compromise the pregnancy when choosing Pilates videos for pregnancy. Remember to get a go ahead from your health care provider before beginning any workout program, even if you are used to physical exercise.
Pilates has become really very popular over the last 10 years and due to the fact that certain techniques are safe during pregnancy it is not surprising that many people are looking for the perfect Pilates videos for pregnancy to enable them to use this wonderful form of exercise in their own homes.
Pilates is often seen as a one size fits all program. Pilates takes the core strengthening, stomach flattening, muscle lengthening exercises that Joseph Pilates invented and group them together to target specific needs or are modified so that people who previously thought they couldn’t do Pilates can benefit from Joseph Pilates brilliant method.
Many women find Pilates to be one of best exercises to do, both during and after their pregancy. One the top reasons Pilates and pregnancy go together so well is that Pilates is great at building core strength. If your abdominals, back, and pelvic floor/Kegel muscles are toned, they will support a more comfortable pregnancy and delivery. Pilates is also famous for helping new moms get their figures back after baby is born!
When buying Pilates videos for pregnancy, first make sure that the instructor on the tape is an expert in the field. Also look for a section or introduction that addresses safety and posture. Posture is a constant challenge throughout pregnancy. Good posture and alignment can help pregnant women avoid the usual aches and pains. And, like any exercise program, enjoyment is a large part of wanting to work out regularly.
Lindsey Jackson’s Video ‘PILATES IN PREGNANCY’
This video claims that by doing these exercises women will gain more balance, control of their bodies, energy, self awareness, better posture, strength and flexibility and be able to relax. To a large extent this is true, if done regularly (2-3 times a week) and the workout would take about 30 minutes.
What Others Have to Say
The Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Women’s Health said “This video is endorsed by, and was produced in consultation with the Association . . . we were impressed at how thorough Lindsey was in making adaptations, based on the advice given by women’s health physiotherapists . . .”
“The video has helped me with a number of things. It has helped my back, which was a problem and has also helped me avoid the slight inconstancy I suffered following the birth of my first baby. I also regained the shape of my stomach far quicker following the birth of this child, than following the birth of my first child when I was not practicing Pilates” Susan Kinderlane
“seeing the effect I could have on my tummy muscles whilst pregnant was incredibly empowering.” Kirsty Maddocks
“Clear and correct instructions . . . appropriate modifications .. well selected exercises . . . well produced and well instructed” Lisa Westlake Australian Physio Association
“I would highly recommend this video to all pregnant/post-partum clients, especially those who are experiencing pelvic ring dysfunction. The instructor is knowledgeable, and the quality of the exercise routine is among the best I have seen for this patient population” Lauren Potach, PT Women’s Health Coordinator Rehab Partners- Methodist Hospital, Nebraska

The implementation of a prenatal yoga DVD to help fight
Your body goes through many changes as you go along in your pregnancy. You have the option how to deal with these changes and how to respond to all. It can be hard going at times, especially when your body does not want his body here and there. Each woman responded to these changes differently but always have a choice in how to handle them. A useful and productive way to deal with them is to use a prenatal yoga DVD.
It can help you get in tune with your body and changes that occur inside and outside. Make contact with your body can help you manage all these changes and reach a place of discernment and acceptance with them.
One thing that a pregnancy yoga DVD can help make good sense of your body. Stretches and postures van yoga can not help find where your body shuts down and can help loosen up the field. As you go about your pregnancy, there are a lot of extra weight pulling back the practice of these stretches can help relax the back and feel stronger.
Another wonderful thing about yoga DVDs prenatal is that it can help you meet your body to change the practices taught deep breathing. Many of us are not really breathing method that we (Of the membrane, and not the chest) and yoga can help you. These are great breathing techniques to help you solve and pay attention to your body. A deep breath many times can you really get stuck in your body and live each piece. Closing his eyes while inhaling and exhaling can help ground and center yourself. This can help you get in touch with what's happening in your body.
Another thing that you find on a DVD of yoga for pregnancy can help control your body is in constant evolution meditation techniques. Again this is a good way for you to simply slow down, focus on your body and your growing child, and relax in your body. Take time to feel just your body and what comes through it. A wonderful thing to do to get change is to understand what is happening in your body through meditation. Only the center and release. Pilates/yoga during pregnancy?
I am in pretty good shape. I am pretty active but I havent really done pilates or yoga because I tend to find them boring. I go on hour walks every other day and well I have a toddler at home and that is an exercise on its own. I am looking for a pilates dvd for a beginning I dont want something that will be too hard for me. I want to give pilates or yoga a try but I have been reading the amazon reviews and I just dont know what to pick. My doc gave me the ok, she said just as long as I am not laying on my back and straining myself either or will be ok. Any suggestions, in your opinion what is better during pregnancy (for a beginner) pilates or yoga, and what videos do you reccomend.
With my 1st I was lucky to have a nice tight flat belly after giving birth but god knows what luck I’ll run with this time.
Thank you
Oh yes I am 20 weeks today and I also swim for an exercise.
I have Prenatal Yoga ~ Shiva Rea and Pilates During Pregnancy, Vol. 1 ~ Niece Pecenka and I like them both. I’ve done both Yoga and Pilates prior to getting pregnant but just did at-home DVDs. It sounds like you’re somewhat of an athlete as it is so you should have no problem figuring out the moves on either of these. The Yoga poses are really easy compared to my other DVD but it’s nice to shut off and stretch. The Pilates one is a little more of a workout but I don’t think it’s strenuous at all. Both are segmented so you don’t have to do all of the sections at once.
I’ve been doing both since 5wks and I’m now 14wks.
Good luck!

AIDS: What really about AIDS and how it can be prevented?
AIDS is a disease of the immune system that is caused by HIV that is otherwise known under the name of "human immunodeficiency virus" HIV diagnosis can be the bearer of bad news for anyone. The situation continues and takes the time to weaken the immune system, leaving patients with the disease to other susceptible species, such as colds, which due to weakened immune systems of patients with AIDS can be fatal. A person suffering from AIDS or HIV is also more sensitive to effects of routine testing is necessary after tumor diagnosis, leading to a life of hospital appointments.
HIV can be passed by the full contact of the mucous membrane, such as the mouth, lips and genitals, and can also be transmitted through direct contact with infected body fluids. These fluids can be blood, semen, vaginal secretions, vaginal and breast milk which means that HIV and AIDS can be transmitted through a child during pregnancy and during lactation. The contact of these fluids may occur through various activities such as anal, vaginal sex oral or blood transfusions or sharing infected needles, most often associated with drug use.
symptoms of AIDS are often latent until the disease is a more advanced stage which means that the diagnosis of AIDS may be even more devastating when the remaining time is short. People with AIDS are at increased risk to develop cervical cancer in women and people with immune system cancers such as lymphoma. AIDS in its most forward to coming with symptoms such as fever, sweats, swollen glands and weakness. Weight loss is also a common symptom of an AIDS patient. AIDS patients are also more susceptible to pneumonia and the weakening of the immune system. AIDS is a real-life demolition of the disease for everyone involved.
Since there is no cure for AIDS, the best way to reduce the spread of this and stop contracting with the methods of prevention. Some of these methods include sex insurance, liability and condom use. Sex is a major cause of HIV transmission and condoms can save lives. There is evidence that unsafe sex is responsible for the AIDS pandemic worldwide. The male condom or female enough.
People working in the healthcare industry can also make your part to stop the spread of AIDS and HIV, all precautions and use appropriate safety equipment to keep spreading the disease. In addition, it has now said Mothers who suffer from HIV / AIDS should avoid breastfeeding their child to prevent the child from the disease as well. This is what all parents do for their children reasonable if they knew they could save your life.
In general, AIDS is a disease of the life of the demolition and there is nothing shameful. However, the prevention of the same is so simple that people do not have to be dying every day from the disease. AIDS not only affects a person, it spreads like wildfire and can affect thousands of people. Then think, and precautions to take if they do not become a victim too.

What do I need for a basic home fitness routine after my baby is born in two weeks!?
I am pregnant but about to give birth and I want to get into shape after the baby is born. It is too cold here in the winter to excercise outside (in the summer I go for long walks, bike rides and hikes) but in the winter I think I would like to use a treadmill for a run and then do my yoga dvd when I can as well. I am a thin/average woman and I have gained less than 20 pounds during my pregnancy but I have always had saddlebags and cellulite and I also have hypothyroid and Im only 22 so I want to make sure Im taking care of myself without taking up too much time and make a plan thats realistic considering I will have a baby!
Initially, you should mostly rest when the baby rests as much as possible. You can set goals in phases – phase 1, when the baby is up every 2 hours – treadmill 5 or 10 minutes? Phase 2, when the baby takes a nice morning and afternoon nap – add more treadmill time, and/or add yoga DVD? Don’t try to do it all at once.
