Human rights, the reality and facts
Human Rights Watch reports that 178 of the 190 countries in the world of paid maternity leave to ensure, by law. In nine countries of the moral status of paid maternity leave was not clear. This leaves only three countries in the world that offer no guarantee permanent statutory paid maternity leave: Papua New Guinea, Swaziland and the United States. Unbelievable. Where are we? The flag bearer of human rights in the world United States, he finds only two countries in the world, Papua New Guinea and Swaziland! Shame, shame, shame, shame, shame! How dare we demand Gadhafi to give up in case of violation of human rights?
International Labour Organization, ILO, is the report has divided these statistics. He explained that 120 countries provide maternity and health-related, by law, including most industrialized countries, with the exception of Australia, New Zealand and the United States. Report also, "The countries that provide most of the paid maternity leave by law are: the Czech Republic – 28 weeks, Hungary – 24 weeks, Italy – 5 months, Canada – 17 weeks, Spain and Romania – 16 weeks each. Denmark, Norway and Sweden wide attention to license that can be taken by one parent, even if one part is reserved for the mother. "In the U.S., the Family Leave Act Medical 1993, provides a total of 12 weeks of unpaid leave in a twelve month period for childbirth and newborn care. More importantly, this mandate is limited to companies with 50 or more employees. Even the anti-discrimination laws in the United States to protect pregnant women, women in childbirth and women born out by related conditions, such as the release of employment discrimination and the ban breaks pumping breast milk, is applied only companies with 15 or more employees. So Libya confirms the ILO standards, except the condition that the mother has to work for the employer will have at least six months. Libya is also one of the 29 countries that have adopted the absolute prohibition of dismissal of a worker during pregnancy for any reason license. This means our human rights situation in some cases is even worse than the worst violators in the world human rights. Cash benefits and health are also essential. A 1996 report to Congress indicated that women were 100% eligible for maternity leave, but do not take it, said it could afford.
The ILO is the organization that created the first global standard in 1919 for the protection of working mothers before and after delivery. It was revised in 1952 and now requires a minimum of 12 weeks of paid maternity benefits for health, although the recommendation is 14 weeks. In countries that provide cash benefits to through social security, you must provide at least two-thirds of their income, with benefits to full health.
Currently, 119 countries meet these standards, with 62 of these countries offer 14 weeks or more for paid maternity leave. Only 31 countries provide less than 12 weeks.
At the same time, the prevailing discrimination strongly in most societies around the world. In 1998, the United States, approximately one in three black men ages 20-29, was in jail or prison. First Nations is close to 18% of the federal prison population, Canada in 2000, when they were only 2% of the population in general. Equality and Human Rights Commission has found blacks five times more per capita prison population in England and Wales, compared with whites.
In 2007, China's leading headhunter Chinahr.com reported that the average wage of white-collar men $ 6,441, while for female white-collar, which was $ 4201. According to a PricewaterhouseCoopers report published in 2002 women held 40% of managerial positions in FTSE 350 companies the UK when this research was repeated in 2007 this number was found to reduce to 22%. In 2009, ILGA has published a report based on research carried conducted by Daniel Ottosson Södertörn University College in Stockholm, Sweden. This report revealed that 80% of countries around the world continue to view homosexuality illegal, and five death penalty for her and the two death penalty to the practice of homosexuality in some parts of the country. This is known as a state of homophobia and is more common in Islamic countries. On February 5, 2005, the IRIN published a report entitled "Iraq:. male homosexuality remains a taboo, "according to a report, honor killings of gay family members in August 2009. Human Rights Watch published a report detailed the torture of gays in Iraq, saying that torture, locking people the year with glue and given laxatives thereafter.
South Africa is now one of the most progressive constitutions in the world, but homosexual unions are still very much considered as non-Africans and reported that 86% of black lesbians in the Western Cape live in fear of an attack. Some other important discrimination are: African Americans are 79% more likely to live in an area where contamination industrial causes various health risks. Only 24 states and DC, including sexual orientation in their hate crime laws. Two-thirds of the world's children who receive less than four years of education are girls.
A UNICEF report states that gender-based infanticide, abortion, malnutrition and neglect is considered the cause of 60 to 100 million women missing from the world's population. 90 percent of child domestic workers are girls aged world 12 and 17. Less than 2% of 120-150 million disabled children in the world access to education. In the United States, AIDS and HIV incidence is doubled in the community in connection with another deaf population. Children with disabilities constitute 20% of institutionalized persons in Central and Eastern Europe, Commonwealth of Independent States and the Baltic. In 1997, Bulgaria, 16% of the Roma minority population has not completed basic education, compared to three percent the general population.
So where is the ideal of "all human beings are created equal? Many sacrifices and control necessary to achieve this ideal? Can we achieve this? How many billions of people continue to suffer human rights violations fundamental and are the target of discrimination and for how long? It is sad that there are still many obstacles in achieving the goal of equality of human beings. Most right-wingers do not get however, this situation as a problem. Unfortunately, opposition and resistance to real and solid solutions remains very strong.

How effective is the morning after pill during ovulation?
I had sex with my husband July 6, 2010 and ejaculated in me, so I went to the pharmacy to get the morning-after pill because it recently had a baby and did not want another so soon. But I realized that the day when I looked at my calendar, July 06 is also the day of my ovulation begins, the pill ovulation occurs less effective? And my cycle usually begins the 20th of each month, but today is 22 and has not yet come, my pregnancy test was negative too, the pill affect my cycle?
The morning-after pill is designed to prevent pregnancy. Since you can get pregnant at the time of ovulation, then the pill is considered to be working while you are ovulating – if not, is not even a morning after pill. And yes, you can play its cycle. You should read the information provided with the pill and see what it says about your next period. I've never taken the morning after pill, but I've heard some people talk about how they say you get the amount of X period of days / week – something like that. If you must then call your doctor or pharmacist for more information.

Should I worry about pregnancy have no symptoms for almost 5 weeks pregnant?
I will be on Friday, 5 weeks I am concerned that I have no pregnancy symptoms, not even tender breasts now (when pregnant with my daughter, who were captured at this stage). I know its early days, but can not help worrying ……… I live in Kent, UK. Doctors and midwives will not even go up to about 8 weeks. All you have to go on two tests is positive.
I wouldnt worry not. When I was pregnant is true for nearly a day. I had everything, nausea, weight gain, swelling, tenderness breasts, etc. My best friend does not know she was pregnant until she was almost 24 weeks gone. He had no signs of disease. His remains 16 weeks of pregnancy without problems and now has a healthy happy child of 11 months has had no problems at all. Just count yourself lucky;)
