im 40 weeks pregnant how to bring it on?
my last baby was 2 weeks late but this pregnancy is worse and i just want to over and done with lol.
Here are some things to bring on labor:
- Sex
- Moving heavy stuff ( rearrange furniture)
- Long Walks
- Bumpy rides (4-wheeling)
- Drink castor Oil. I know it sounds gross but it brings on labor in a couple hours. (mix it with your favorite drink and chug it down) Believe me it works…

smoking pot before getting pregnant. bad ?
I need to know whether or not smoking marijuana a a teen will affect any kind of fetal development when I actually decide to start a family. We looked at horrible pictures of things that have happened to babies because of pot, like no arm or leg development, and I don’t want to endanger my future children or their children in any way…it’s supposedly hereditary. If someone smokes they can have mutated reproductive cells that can be passed down. True? Yes or no? I researched it but all i could find was effects of smoking during pregnancy, which is not my question. help, please and thanks :]
Those pictures and defomities may have occured because of drugs, but I can tell you that pot does not produce flipper babies. While smoking pot may or may not be something that is recommended, it will not effect your babies development in the future if you so choose to have one. Infact, the effects of pot during pregnancy are not nearly as bad as the effects of cigarette smoking or alchohol during pregnancy. What happens is that there is a risk for a low birth rate and possible attention disorders later on in life. There is talk about ‘withdrawl’, but there’s no such thing as marajuana withdrawl. So, don’t smoke pot while pregnant, but jeez, they must really be putting kids through a brain washing scare fest to be showing you pictures like that. Anyway, to answer your question, if you don’t smoke very often (and most pot smokers don’t) you’ll be fine. If you start smoking pot daily, your fertility may be at risk. Enjoy!

Weight Gain Pregnancy – You Don’t Want to be One of These
Being a fitness trainer, over the past few decades I’ve seen quite a few new mothers join the gym in an effort to regain their figure after childbirth. God bless them for working at getting back in shape. But, my friends and I observed an all too common phenomena which could have made their recoveries so much easier had they avoided it. They were eating way too many calories from nutritionally void junk foods! We saw this scenario in the gym so often that we began to refer to this as a weight gain pregnancy.
Many of these mothers approached me for exercise and diet advice. From conversations I had with them, I realized that most were very aware of the additional nutrition needed during pregnancy for both themselves and their babies. And, most of them took precautions to eat nutritionally packed meals along with prenatal supplements. The culprit they seemed to have in common was the additional calories consumed in junk foods.
So the dilemma was in getting most, if not all, of their calories from highly nutritious low calorie foods. And, having the discipline to avoid the foods that have little or no nutritional value. Not only would they be able to avoid the dreaded weight gain pregnancy, but this is the healthy path for both mother and child.
Now, discipline often needs a friend, so here is what you are going to do. Purchase a book with a glycemic index and calorie count of foods, and check what you’re eating. Oh, and that’s before you put it in your mouth.
Count Your Calories
It’s generally accepted that you really only need an additional 300 calories a day during pregnancy, especially in the second and third trimester. You will be surprised at the difference in the caloric content between the right foods and the wrong foods. You can eat more of the right foods, not to mention their nutritional value. Again, refer to your book and don’t be a weight gain pregnancy. I must add here, that any artificially sweetened low or no calorie product is basically poisoned gas. Stay far away from it.
Avoid Refined Sugars
Keeping your blood sugar level is always important to good health. This is especially so during pregnancy. Refined sugars spike your levels, then drop them way down, effecting your energy and moods. It also creates a vicious cycle. You will be less likely to freak out and binge if you can keep your blood sugar level. Eat small meals throughout your day, refer to your book and don’t be a weight gain pregnancy.
Substitute Old Goodies With New Goodies
When you’re dying for that piece of candy, eat frozen grapes or dried fruits. Instead of spooning in that ice cream, mix some fresh berries and nuts into non-fat frozen yogurt. Stay the heck away from soda pops. Instead, mix 100% fruit juice with mineral water. Go from processed to natural. Make this a habit and you won’t be a weight gain pregnancy as they are known in the gym. Try it; it really can be satisfying and effective.
MAYDAY
If you are about to commit homicide if you don’t get that box of brownies. And you really don’t care if you become a weight gain pregnancy at this point, set yourself aside one day out of the week to have a “cheat day.” Whether it’s Sunday or Tuesday, choose no more than one day a week to indulge yourself. Don’t go overboard, I’m not saying it’s OK to binge. Know that it will come again in just six more days. This can be a great way of helping you eat clean, or cleaner, for the rest of the week as well as keeping you sane.
Pregnancy can and will change your body, but there is so much you can do to regain or even improve your figure after childbirth. So, avoid a weight gain pregnancy, be strong now, and you will be so much closer to getting back into shape after you’re baby is born.

Thirty years after its release in 1964, this poignant romantic drama, in which virtually all of the dialogue is sung, was badly in need of restoration. The bright colors had faded and washed out in a haze of pink, and the film stock had badly aged. Fortunately, the movie was properly restored to its original splendor and rereleased to worldwide acclaim. Not only was this French romance a daring mu…

Is it normal for a fetus to tilt the head back?
A few days ago I had an ultrasound at 13 weeks of pregnancy. What surprised me was that the baby's head was tilted back most of the time. I have seen many pictures u / s when the baby's chin is back, but my baby seemed keeping the head tilted back at an odd angle mostly. Technical Ultrasound has many commentaries, she told me to answer all questions to my doctor (going on two days). From your experience, is this normal for a fetus to move your head so far back? Have you seen your baby do u / s? I always thought that at this stage the babies are suppossed to keep your chin close to your chest …
I do not know if it is "normal", but is in my case! In my second U / S, my son is a bit of everything. Poured around since repeatedly kicked, punched, had her head back, etc. When I saw on the monitor, his hands on the sides of his face (as he thought .. lol) and suddenly he blew a kiss! Pursed his lips and opened her mouth a little .. era soo adorable! Then he threw his head back (wayy back) and kept there for a few .. mintutes before karate kicks to my bladder .. = / I do not care all, but if it makes you more comfortable – you can always talk to your doctor your next appointment. It could be a trick in its development and muscle growth .. but I do not think it would be very easy to diagnose simply view it in a U / S. She sleeps? His head would probably be "odd" positions, when she was asleep .. and 13 weeks, with honesty, which has plenty of room for moving the head (and the rest of himself on) where I wanted or felt comfortable with the move! Wait until you have 25 weeks +, then the space becomes a little tricky in that .. to say the least. =)

Problems Pregnancy
A pregnant woman should have awareness for 9 Ordinary problems in pregnancy, which are:
1. Gaining Weight. Increasing in weight is natural when women are pregnant. Every woman experiences this problem. The cause of this problem is the increased blood circulation, inside the body.
2. Experiencing some cold and cough. This is the most general problem, which is faced by many pregnant women. The reason for this problem is the weakening of women immune system, when they are pregnant. On the other hand, in case of serious cold and cough, it is important to be certain about the safety of the fetus. This is because; constant cough can lead to the miscarriage.
3. Increase in Blood Pressure (BP). When women are pregnant, they mostly suffer from high blood pressure. High blood is a significant rise of blood pressure in blood veins, particularly in arteries. Those women who experience high blood pressure are in risk of having Pre-Eclampsia, which may have a severe effects on their internal organs, like blood vessels, liver and kidney. Therefore, it is necessary to control high blood pressure, before it becomes worse.
4. High temperature, fever. Pregnant women often suffer from fever in their early pregnancy. Mild temperature is natural and nothing serious in early periods, but a sever fever can be very fatal and can lead to the critical situations like death.
5. Pain in Back. Having pain in a back is also possible during pregnancy and the result of this can be discomfort, inflexibility and deadness of the back. This is because of the production of various hormones, including a hormone known as Relaxin. This hormone is responsible for making ligaments and pelvis soft, to make sure that a baby can easily move out through the pelvis.
6.Development of Diabetes. It happens very often that some women develop the diabetes problem during pregnancy. In this situation, high amount of sugar is created in the blood, which is only released when the baby is born. Therefore, it is important for those pregnant women who have gestational diabetes, to, annually, check their blood sugar matter.
7. Itching in Skin. Another early pregnancy problem is, itching in the skin. Most pregnant women complained about tickling skin, particularly in the area near breasts and abdomen. The general reason for this problem is related to hormones. When a woman gets pregnant, her abdomen skin start expanding, which causes prickliness and dryness in that area. Therefore, take very good care of skin, during pregnancy.
8. Swelling of body part. Swelling of body parts can occur after pregnancy. In this situation, parts of body, like feet, face, etc, start to swell quickly. A reason for this can be excessive ingestion of liquid during pregnancy. It can be avoided if a pregnant woman drinks less water.
9. Sleeping Problem. Some women have difficulty in sleeping during pregnancy. This can be, because of shortage of appropriate exercises and diet. A solution for this problem is to perform exercise regularly and take proper nutrition. Also, make certain, to avoid all types of stress, take constant breaks and sleep on a regular basis.
