my wife is 7 months pregnant with our first child, a son of his. im 21 and shes 23. I at this jewelry store in New York yesterday and there was a poster showing a pregnant woman and her husband put a ring on his finger and had small pink stones in the previous poster says "be mother is beautiful, we have the ring game. "I asked the sales guy and he told me to use the old tradition for the mother-to-ring? had a strong Russian accent, so I just nodded. There is a tradition like that? I have a boy or a girl?
Im only 5 weeks pregnant. but I thought it would be fun to hear some older women, he said. hi i have my belly button pierced and i am currently 10 weeks pregnant i was wondering if its best to take it of or if i buy a pregnancy belly button ring be okay to? i was told that if i don’t take it of my skin will hang ugly once i have the baby. Have any of you moms used one of those pregnant belly button rings if so what was your experience with it? and is it true your skin hangs bad and ugly for not taking it of?? when should i take of my current belly ring or change it to the prego type?
I have mine pierced on the bottom. I’m at 20 weeks now and as soon as my belly started to bulge I took mine out completely. I took mine out just because it was just plain uncomfortable. It was getting caught on everything and it actually started itching really bad because of the skin stretching. I was wondering about what to eat when I am pregnent to help my baby’s IQ or beauty. I remember there is a old fashion diet but I don’t remember the details.
There was a comment about eating more fish. Yes, you should eat fish but be careful about what type of fish you eat. For example tuna, shark and swordfish (among others) may have high levels of mercury but salmon, shrimp, and cod among others as well) are considered to have lower levels of mercury (I think due to lower fat content, where mercury is stored). I suggest doing your research and/or talking to your doctor before you go all out eating fish. Mercury can cause severe developmental problems in the fetus.
As for the green veggies – very important, particularly during the first trimester because they are natural sources of folic acid (folic acid supplements should also be taken before getting pregnant and during pregnancy to reduce neural tube development problems (spinal bifida and other neurological problems)
