What could be the reasons for gaining weight so rapidly during the first trimester of pregnancy?
I am very worried. my next appointment doc is more than two weeks, and my concern is that I am gaining weight so quickly. as 8 kilos in 4 weeks! I have 10 weeks of pregnancy and started to rise weight at 6 weeks. This is my diet plan: in the morning I eat a fruit with yogurt, for lunch I'll have a sandwich and at night I have a husband did. I used to drink Milo lot too. (I cut this week) No I want to win so quickly that FAT sense and not pregnant. o Yes, and I am exercising three days a week, cycling on a stationary bike for 30 minutes. never in my life that I had put on weight quickly, there may be other reasons why I'm winning so quickly?
Are you sure you eat no more than that? It makes little sense. But if you're a doctor does not care that you should not be. Pregnant women should eat five small meals a day instead of three large meals a day.

yoga positions for the second quarter dangerous?
I'm a disaster in yoga, but I started taking a yoga class to maintain the pregnancy form. I have 20 weeks of pregnancy at this time. The coach is very experienced (and the only one in our small town), but I doubt that some of the things that make us do. My main concern is that it takes ten or fifteen minutes of exercise on their backs, including very uncomfortable when we lift our hips on the floor, keeping your shoulders on the floor. The baby is kicking mad when I do, too. After I did the exercise class yesterday, I went back and found I had some very bad hemorrhoids that was (Sorry, TMI) and they were not there before the class. I've heard that too long in the back can aggravate hemorrhoids by increasing blood pressure in lower half, so I think it could be related to yoga. Am I right in thinking that this woman is leading us to not move at risk? Or Am I just paranoid?
can be "dangerous" to their point of gestation, but it is almost time to avoid not put on the back for long periods of time. if it's uncomfortable for you, I would not. I have video of the second quarter and there's Prenatal Yoga exercises that require laying on your back or stomach, only one side.

this is a question that mothers who excersize during pregnancy alot could answer?
hi, everyone, im asking this to hopefully women who have used an exercise stationary bike during pregnancy. i want to know, if i go by normal nutritional guidelines (calorie and health food), how many miles on a stationary bike should i do (how many times a week too) to maintain my weight. im already some overweight and i dont realy want to gain any more fat weight from now on in the pregnancy. this is my second pregnancy and my doctor told me to shoot for only 15 lbs and ive already overgone that. i know i will gain those lbs from my baby. but does anyone know how many times a week and how many miles should i spend on the bike to either tone my body, and or just maintain my weight?
This is something you may want to talk to your doctor about. I used a stationary bike while pregnant and walked a lot.
The key for me was when I got tired–I stopped. There is not set miles or minutes. For me, I just biked/walked when I felt like it (about four times a week) and when I was tired I stopped.
As for gaining weight. You will gain the baby weight but in all actuality you will be losing weight while you are gaining it. If that makes any sense. While you won’t be taking nutrition away from your child, you will be losing weight if you maintain your pre-pregnancy weight.
I’d talk to your doctor about this. I never had weight problems but only gained 25lbs during my pregnancy. The doctor did show concern. Expect to gain weight but exercise. Good on you for staying healthy!

Pilates is a slightly higher for the year (invented by Joseph Pilates in the 20th century) which has recently gained much media attention, and now participates in many people worldwide, with improvements in mental and physical health. The original inventor of the method because he was very weak and could not do regular exercises like other of his age. What finally proved a good understanding of how the muscles of the body and mind control works and Finally, applying knowledge to help others to improve control and therefore his body and a better quality of life that inevitably arise. Due their nature, without the stress and philosophy at any time in any place, person, it is safe to continue with Pilates during pregnancy. It is an exercise in impact that works with your body in its current state and does not require or involve high voltages involved with a regimen of exercises such as weight lifting or training cardiovascular.
This is particularly true when a woman becomes pregnant and can no longer perform different aerobic movements that had applied previously. In this period, a Pilates workout can help the core muscle strength remain intact. This makes Pilates during pregnancy is not only an option obvious, but also a necessity during the pregnancy is progressing more and more emphasis on the back and the joints of the body due to weight gain. When Joseph Pilates was the creation of the Pilates exercises are focused on what he calls the force of the belt. The strength of the belt are the abdomen muscles and such as those connected to the bottom package and pelvic floor. These areas are also the most important for a pregnant woman because of pregnancy prohibits participation stressful nature of these areas. Thus, during pregnancy, Pilates offers not only the perfect but sometimes the only option.

Yoga Mama
OK, I know some of us had dreams that when we were pregnant, we would spend the whole 9 months reclining (gracefully!) on the sofa while someone brought us bowls of ice-cream and chocolate biscuits, and massaged our very slightly swollen but still elegant-looking feet. And of course we would put on exactly the recommended amount of weight, and our belly would be perfectly shaped and cute. Sigh…the reality can be just a little different.
Remember that staying active and healthy during pregnancy has many benefits, and gentle exercise like pre-natal yoga is perfect. It seems yoga is an all-time favourite with the celebs, and most keep going right through pregnancy. Both Nicole Kidman and Halle Berry are reportedly including yoga in their pregnancy exercise routines. So what to wear? Your pre-pregnancy workout clothes may not fit for long, and you want to be comfortable, right? QueenBee has some great suggestions to help you look great while staying active.
Try our super soft and stretchy twist tank top with flare leg cords…you’ll love the comfy cotton knit foldover waist band. The tops come in two bright colours as well as black, and are also good with our funky grey stripe leggings. And to wear over your tank top you can’t go past one of our super soft French Terry Hoodies – it’s great for layering, comes in short or long sleeved versions, and a range of great pastel and dark colours. We love the French pink and baby green pastels, or you could go with the navy long-sleeved hoodie like Jessica Alba. Another fave is our long sleeve mini dot sweater; comfortable, stylish, and looks as good over jeans as it does over leggings. See how it looks on US actress Brooke Burke! This is a low v-neck, and our black tank top goes well underneath. Check out more fashion check out www.queenbee.com.au

How do you know if you had a miscarriage very early in pregnancy?
Stress early in pregnancy leads to high spontaneous abortions in the first 3 weeks of conception. Does anyone know how a woman would know? Don’t women only find out they are pregnant usually around 2 months after?
I’m a dude, and I’m reading this article for my paper that says that High stress = High levels of cortisol = high progesterone, leading to spontaneous abortions in women who experience more stress. The study didn’t really say how they know women had the abortions or not.
When it is that early on in a pregnancy, you won’t usually know and there really is no way to tell. You might have a little heavier bleeding and some cramping, but it can seemingly appear as just your period.

Pregnancy Workout Videos
Lindsay Brin’s Moms Into Fitness Complete Pregnancy
I enjoyed this Pregnancy Workout set. Most pregnancy fitness videos were no challege for me and I felt like I was not getting any results out of them, but these were safe and formidable, which was a relief. Having the exercises broken down by trimester was very conducive, and Lindsay was on target with what I was able to do at each period in the pregnancy.
Your baby is getting stronger every day and you should be, too! This next DVD introduces unique exercises to build lower back strength safely plus exercises to keep your body strong, boosting endurance and increasing muscle tone. Exercises are customized to the second trimester, and all about optimal strength in the abs and back.
The yoga routine left a little to be desired for me, so I usually just inserted my own yoga exercise for the one on the DVD, but it is probably ok for someone who does not currently do yoga daily and isn’t picky. The postnatal boot camp dvd is also great. There are great amounts of various exercises and workouts for you to choose from and they are ardous enough to actually facilitate you get back into shape, unlike a number of other postnatal fitness regimens that I have experienced. Even though the regimens are ardous, she provides alterations to make things effortless for those who still need to work up to the advanced level. This is the greatest Pregnancy Exercise video that I have seen for pregnant women.

Pregnancy Exercise Videos
Lindsay Brin Moms Pregnancy Gym
I enjoyed this pregnancy exercise together. Most pregnancy fitness Face videos were not for me and I was not getting results out of them, but they were strong and formidable, it was a relief. Having a fitness plan, broken down by quarters has been very favorable, and Lindsay was on target with what we could do in each period during pregnancy.
Demands on your body to increase so significant in the third quarter. Third quarter you and your baby safe while strengthening the hips, core, legs and arms. Increased capacity breathing, eliminate fatigue, and prepare the body and the spirit of delivery, and rapid recovery after your baby is born!
The pattern of yoga left something to be desired for me, so I usually just replace my system of yoga for one in the DVD, but it is probably good for someone who yoga consistently and not difficult. The section of training camp after pregnancy is also useful. Large amounts of mock and exercises for you to choose and they are formidable enough to really help get in shape, unlike a number of other postnatal exercises that I knew. While the diagrams are large, offers changes to make things easier for those who still have to work at an advanced level. It is the largest training video I've seen pregnancy pregnant women.

18 day to lose some pounds…HELP?
So I have a wedding to go to in 18 days and I want to feel sexy. I just had my son 7 weeks ago so i have some baby fat that needs to be gone. I’m 21, 5’1 and was 128 pre-pregnancy and I’m 140 post-pregnancy and I want to lose some weight before attending this wedding.
I’ve been doing these leg and buns workout dvd, and some sit-ups.
What diet or workout can I do to lose as much weight in 18 days. I’m not trying to starve myself or be unhealthy about it.
Please help, thanks
For rapid weight loss I would highly recommend i Diet & Fitness. They have a rapid weight loss diet plan that is a part of their dieting package. Very cheap and well worth the money. You can lose a lot of weight if you stick with their quick start diet. The quick start diet ranges from a week to 10 days. Hope this helps.

Health Recovery after Pregnancy and Delivery
Normal Physiology
As a woman ages, her body adjusts and prepares itself to accommodate and to prepare her to be able to bear children of her own when the right time comes. With this comes into picture the first menstruation of the woman. This signifies that the woman has already a uterus that would be able to sustain and shelter a fetus.
During Pregnancy
There are numerous signs and symptoms a woman may experience when pregnant. Sometimes these are taken mistakenly or commonly referred to and termed as presumptive signs. However, having these factors present may indicate that a woman is pregnant:
1)Positive urine pregnancy test
2)Fetal heart beat present
3)Chadwick’s sign
4)Ballotment
The Body Changes as the Fetus Grows
During the first few months, preferably the first trimester (first 3 months) of the pregnancy, there is no obvious sign that the body may change in the outer aspect; however, the hormones, the blood circulation, the mood, the appetite of the mother have changed greatly. The pelvic bone changes and increase in size to accommodate the growing uterus. The blood circulation of the mother doubles as the heart pumps bloods twice the workload. There is shortness of breath as the increasing size of the uterus pushes down the diaphragm. Nausea and vomiting may also be likely seen as the hormonal change can alter the homeostasis of the pregnant woman. There is also an increase of urine urgency. All these normal change can be seen and observed during the first trimester and third trimester of the pregnancy period.
After Giving Birth Recovery
It is of no explanation how a woman would feel to have the baby delivered and brought out to the world. It is a mixed feeling of anxiousness, nervousness, and happiness at the same time. All these emotional changes are very common both towards the mother and father of the child.
Depending upon the hospital protocol, there are those that perform episiotomy. This is a procedure that is done to the woman upon giving birth of the child. It is usually done to prevent the occurrence of lacerations in the vagina, thus making it hard to repair and increase the risk of complications such as bleeding. With this, the woman who has given birth after would likely feel a little discomfort. A heat lamp would likely help relieve the discomfort. Sitz bath can also help relieve the pain in the area.
Since one of the physiological change of the body during pregnancy is the fluctuation of women’s hormone, there are those as well that may find themselves going back to the signs and symptoms of the first trimestral period, which is nausea and vomiting. Eating dry crackers before getting up is advised to minimize nausea.
The increase in blood circulation also changes abruptly as there is no longer a fetus inside needing the blood circulation. It is also observed that mothers would also experience palpitations and night sweats.
