Exercises – Yoga – etc. at 7 1/2 mo Prego need some techniques!?
I am a fairly active individual but I really don’t exercise, I haven’t ever needed to. I have been a ballet dancer since I was 3 years old and have maintained the flexibility and body type my entire life since (28 yrs. old).
I am wanting to learn some exercises and appropriate stretching for my level of pregnancy. I am still fairly small for being 31 wks along so I haven’t had any issues with mobility or anything.
I have tried looking for Yoga classes and such – but I think I would feel more comfortable doing them on my own. A description or a link to where i can get the techniques would be helpful!
There are a lot of good pregnancy videos/DVDs out there. Check them out on Amazon.com and pay attention to the ratings at the bottom of each to see which one women like best. I took a pregnancy yoga class throughout my second and early in my third trimester, and it does help. They say it will help with labor and delivery, as well, since you’re working on the areas that will need to “give” when you give birth.

This removes the self-doubt home-exercisers often have about the s…

How can I get my abs back after having a baby?
My baby is a year old now, and I’ve lost all the weight and then some. I don’t necessarily have a problem getting my stomach toned, but I was very small before I got pregnant, and then got very big during pregnancy and it has left a little loose skin under my belly button, and I want to know how I can tighten that up.
Running and cardio works best!

tightening loose skin, abs after pregnancy?
I had a baby 14 months ago.
I’m starting to work on my abs again but my stomach sticks out, and there’s some loose, almost crinkly skin especially under my bellybutton, like a little pooch.
Any way that I can tighten that skin with workouts/exercise? Anything I can do other than surgery – any good products to use, maybe creams or whatever?
Exercise is the only way. Creams help – you apply them by massaging them into your body, this helps that part of your body.
There are plenty of exercises that will work on your abs and you should be able to get a good looking tummy auite quickly.
Work on the rest of your body as well.
Walk around as if someone has shoved something pointy up your behind – ie – pull your abs in when you are not excersing.

Should I continue exercising when I’m trying to get pregnant?
It’s going to be my first pregnancy and I’m not sure if my routine 3-4 times a week of jogging/running and aerobic workout could be harmful. Prior to know that I’ll be successfully conceive, should I continue exercising now or to pause until proven whether it’s successful when i due for my next period.
There isn’t any reason why you can’t still excercise. The general rule is if it’s something you did prior to your pregnancy you can continue during your pregnancy unless you start to have complications and your doctor would then advise you to stop. Women are even allowed to continue horseback riding if they rode on a regular basis before pregnancy.
So go ahead and continue to excercise. I would go to your doctor and be put on a prescription prenatal vitamin now though, many doctors prefer patients to be on while trying to concieve. It has a higher amount of folic acid in it than regular vitamins. And doesn’t contain other vitamins or supplements that aren’t good for the baby lilke some over the counter general vitamins.
I wish you all the best!

is blood pressure normally high during exercise?
Hi I have had some problems with blood pressue since my last pregnancy but it seems to be getting better, almost always normal except if I am busy doing something active. I jogged today and I did not make it far and I felt bad so I took my BP when I got home and had a few minutes to calm my heart rate down it was 156 over 86 heart rate 118. is that normal for most people to get high BP while active?
Blood pressure increases during exercise and whenever your pulse is raised. Since you took your BP with a pulse rate of 118, your BP reading is actually very good.

Second pregnancy symptoms, or the same as the first?
Hi ladies, I was wondering for those of you who have had more pregnancy addition to the lack of menstruation, the symptoms were the same as were her first pregnancy, or are completely different? I have a strong suspicion that I am pregnant although I have not missed a period, however, I think nausea, cramps, and I'm making a point (there was only a few spots of pale pink) and I'm very tired. With my son, I knew I was pregnant before I missed my period because my breasts hurt very badly and I had no nausea at all … my breasts are not bother me at any time. So just wondering if your syptoms same or different first and second, and that's what the sex of the child. Thanks a lot … Have a great day and a Happy New Year! I know that what is shown on the inside and the newborn baby … but I had an answer in the forum of pregnancy, and I know that many ladies Here you have more than one. Thanks
It was very different this time in an initially anyway. With my first daughter, I felt like I had PMS to the power 10, even before the discovery. This week totally normal baby I couple these first, although there were a lot of strange cramps about a week before he tested positive. With my first my morning sickness began unexpectedly in about 8 weeks and almost killed me – it was so bad that I was on Zofran until week 20 or well, and every time I tried to remove relapsed with hours and hours of vomiting. Completed in the hospital several times for dehydration. With it, began before and while became very sick around week 9 (Zofran again), is not as bad as when for the first time. In 17 weeks I felt better, compared to 25 or 26 weeks with my first! Besides some similarities, everything else was different. different desires and dislikes, different levels of comfort (which has many aches and pains at this time that never I had my first), until my stomach is in shape. Both babies are my girls! Good luck!

Denise Austin workouts?
He had a son five months and a half ago (I won 40 pounds, and has already lost 30 pounds) and I bought Denise Austin-bouncing baby ribbon. I found the aerobics difficult to follow. Is it difficult to follow or am I? I liked his keynote article, I'm actually a little pain today just made yesterday. Or do you recommend other workouts that are easy? Edit: I have 31 years old, 5'4 "and weighs 180 pounds I'd like to be around £ 140 at a time. I was quite active before pregnancy, but I find it hard to feel motivated and I'm so tired after taking care of my son.
WOW This could be my story. Besides the fact that I am ten years older. : O) I had just told a friend that I have to have a New Year's resolution to lose 40 pounds. The idea is that I start thinking about that and give me a month to go around the idea and then start after the holidays. I say 52 weeks in a year, if you set a goal to lose a pound a week, it will be feasible. Before Thanksgiving the next year I will be back in more comfortable conditions. I know many think it is too time to wait, but we carry our child for nine months, so if it takes so long to lose weight tension, then that's fair. Anyway, regarding your question. . . I'm not sure Denise Austin, but I love Leslie and the Walk Walk the video. I think all you do is a step in the right direction. It's hard which is activated when you exhausted. The key is a healthy diet and activity. Good luck, O)
