We are ttc and so far no luck. i know i ovulated this month and i did a few days before up until the day after ovulation.

I just saw a question where someone asked if cramps like a week or more earlier than your period is supposed to be a sign of pregnancy. Well, I’ve heard they are, but my question is: Are cramps particularly on the left side of your abdomen a sign as well?

I am trying to have a baby too, for my first time and I was told that cramping on either side, left or right, is normal, the side that you get the cramping on is the side the the egg came down from…whichever ovarie it was is the side it will cramp. as far as back pains, I am not sure if it is ever disignated to a specific side but i do know that it is common to have lower back pain in the early stages of pregnancy….I have about a week too before I can take a test!! isn’t it exciting? Early pregnancy test, chances of false positive?

I am supposed to start my period tomorrow, however I took an early pregnancy test yesterday and it was definitely positive. I took another one today and that one was positive also. I’ve had the same pregnancy symptoms I had when I was pregnant with my daughter, and my husband and I had sex the day I started ovulating. So, all of this points to me being pregnant, but in the back of my mind I am remembering things I’ve heard about false positives and early pregnancy tests not being accurate. What do you guys think?

Do I End it Or Wait it Out?

My bhcg levels are rising very slowly…fluctuating even if you will. Last Thursday, the reading was 342, Friday 335, and yesterday 358.
An ultrasound was done to see if a sac was in the tubes or in the uterus or what have you. They saw nothing.
My doctor is convinced this is a tubal pregnancy. I haven’t really been experiencing any symptoms of an ectopic pregnancy but I am not sure.
He seems rather anxious for me to take the shot that would force miscarriage, however, I am not certain I want to do that at this stage in the game. There have been instances where slow rising HCGs led to a perfectly healthy baby.
The practical side of me says take the shot. The hopeful part of me says give things a little more time. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
