Early Home Pregnancy Test?
If I had sex on 3/3/07 in the evening (around 7pm (assuming I concieved), what are the chances of getting a positive pregnancy result from an early home pregnancy test (Clearblue) if I test tomorrow morning (3/8/07) at 8am? Or if I test tomorrow evening at 7pm? Thanks.
If you take a test today it definately would not be accurate you have to wait at least until the end of march to be able to know, if you had sex on 3/3/07 it takes 3 days for the sperm to actually reach the egg, so nothing wouldnt really happen till 3/6/07, so you have to wait at least 14 to do a pregnancy test. I think I'm pregnant, what now?
Oh God, I did not expect. Signature 1: not yet had a period since the week before Thanksgiving. I-Do not miss my period and have now lost and I'm late for the second. Signature 2: I gained weight over 10 lbs. I still do not change the weight more than + -2 pounds since his first year of high school. Signature 3: swelling of the abdomen. It feels a bit like it does in my time, even the little bit of cramp-ness. Signature 4: strange feelings, just talk with a friend and began spontaneously mourn. Perhaps nothing, perhaps other health problems. I have a home pregnancy test and orderly way. Is it likely pregnant? What I'm doing. I have no health insurance. Am I eligible for state aid. There is a clinic in this city that can work to help free me, especially if you are pregnant. Abortion is not an option for me.

Earliest I can take a pregnancy test? Early signs? Help!?
My last period was about 2 1/2 weeks ago, but I’ve been experiencing some strange symptoms- tender breasts, lethargy, chills and overall sore body, lower back pains, and mild headache. When is the earliest I can take the test? If I am pregnant, is it possible to see symptoms this early? How come you usually can’t take the test until after a missed period?

How soon can I test? Well, first you gotta know how the test works. Briefly: the home pregnancy test (HPT) works by detecting a hormone called human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG.) When an egg is fertilized, it takes about 6 to 12 days to implant in the uterus, and then it begins to secrete hCG. It takes another day or two for enough hCG to build up and make its way into your pee. So, generally speaking, the earliest you can expect a positive HPT is 8 days past ovulation (“DPO”) and the latest would be about 16 DPO. It is possible to get a positive test earlier or later, but not as common. In my experience, if you use a sensitive “early” test (anything that detects 25 mIU/mL of hCG or less) you can test around 12-14 DPO and feel reasonably secure with your results (the later you test, the more secure you can feel in its accuracy.)
If you do not chart or monitor your fertility in any way, and you think you may have conceived, you should wait 19 days (or longer) after having sex to test. Why 19?! Sperm can live approximately 5 days in the proper environment; if the sperm managed to live until you popped an egg, the actual conception could have taken place several days after the sex act that got the sperm there. To make sure you’re not testing too early, assume the sperm had very long lives (5 days is considered a very long sperm life) and that conception occurred then. Then allow 14 days for the embryo to implant and develop enough hCG to show up on a pregnancy test (96% of pregnant women will test positive by then.)

seosonique and breastfeeding?
so my daughter is 5 months old and breastfeeding and shes underweight, now my obgyn put me on seasonique birth control 3 months ago (she knows im breastfeeding), so in a baby magazine it was talking about post-pregnancy birth control and it said you couldnt take that one while breastf eeding, then i read the label on my meds and it said “DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICATION WHILE BREASTFEEDING, IT IS EXCRETED INTO BREAST MILK” so freaking out i called my obgyn and she told me that warning labels are sometimes exaggerated, my husband says shes just covering her butt and to stop taking it immediatly because it could harm my baby, im unsure what to do now.

35 weeks pregnant and gained 42 pounds?!?! Success stories after Baby please!?
I went to the doctor today, and when I went the staircase was, I have gained 42 pounds (oops). I know it's recommended weight gain about 25-35 kilos, and I tried like crazy to meet the guidelines. My doctor is not worried. I'm taller than average (5'10 "), had a healthy weight before pregnancy, and both my blood pressure and sugar in the blood were normal. I however, some tone in the legs and arms. I've been retaining water like crazy, however, especially the last two weeks. Does anyone has gained over 40 pounds and managed to lose weight in a decent amount of time (as in 6 months or less)? I need inspiration I can back my way pregnancy before one day .. Thanks girls:)
Seriously do not worry. 42 pounds, especially in its height and the fact that you were a healthy weight to begin with not very large. I worry if I had to say 60 pounds and have blood pressure issues or blood sugar or unhealthy eating. My pregnancy has lasted 34 weeks, but I won more than 35 pounds, so it is reasonable to assume that I learned more than 40 weeks later. My daughter on the anniversary of 6 months, weighed less than my weight before pregnancy. I doing this, that the options were actually good for my daughter (my weight loss was just a lovely side effect): # 1: that only breastfed. It was hard at first, but with support, education, and stick to it, we got through the most difficult and continued his chest, there is no formula. In addition to the multitude of health problems, we have reduced our exposure to foods by formula, about 500 calories left for my breastfeeding on day. # 2: I put in an envelope or a scarf and walk as soon as I recovered from the birth. Night sweats are a sign of early pregnancy?
Me and my boyfriend just tried to have a baby of 6 days. There the last two night I wake up in the middle of night sweats in my whole body! wet leaves and I get clothes. Is this a sign of the first design?
Sweats night are not an indication of pregnancy, although the basal body temperature rises during pregnancy and can comply with night sweats and "warmth" integral over throughout pregnancy. Do you know when you ovulated? Higher core body temperate is caused by high levels of progesterone, which is normal after ovulation, if you is pregnant or not. If you are not pregnant, progesterone production stops approximately 12-14 days after ovulation (which activates AF to start) and the temperature drops to the levels prior to ovulation. Now, you may be in the cycle following ovulation, or there may be issues totally unrelated to the cause of sweating night. Is it possible for pregnancy test to work for dogs/cats too?
We want to find out if my friends dog is prego. I dont know if dog hormones would be easily detected from any kind of testing kit you can buy just anywhere but would be great if this might work.
Nope, wouldn’t work. A human pregnancy kit will only work for humans. Take the dog to the vet to find out. And if it’s not too late, schedule a spay abort. There’s enough backyard bred dogs overpopulating the planet.

What do you think of my sequel idea?
The first book is about a girl who gets her best friend back. He was in Hollywood for six months. He’s a pop star, so it’s hard for him to get back home. The two best friends fall in love, then he has to leave for another six months on a world tour. After only three stops, the girl is able to find him. She followed him from Germany to Australia to Boston. While they’re flying to LA, they get in a plane crash. Everyone but the girl and guy die. The only injury that occurs is that the girl breaks her leg. I end the book while they’re in the helicopter on their way to the hospital and she falls asleep.
I was thinking in the second book, the girl could get pregnant from just one night when they forgot birth control. The book could be about the couple getting through the pregnancy, then through their first few months as parents.
What kind of birth control is she on? You pretty much have to forget the birth control for several nights to get pregnant. Your egg doesn’t just drop down in one night (it’s called ovulating). Especially when your hormones have just been thrown out of whack by taking medication irregularly.
The “Oh no! I forgot to use some kind of contraceptive just that one time and now I’m pregnant!” usually refers to the lack of a condom, not birth control.

How reliable are early pregnancy tests?
I have been experiencing what i believe to be implantation bleeding for 2 days now, i think it is coming to a stop today! I have 3 days to go until my period is due, what i want to know is would i get a positive result if i used an early pregnancy test?

you may get a positve some boxes tell you you can take them up to 5 days before your missed period so read it and see what it says and NO it does not need to be first morning urine I took 4 tests and 11PM and they were all positve!! good luck!
