seosonique and breastfeeding?
so my daughter is 5 months old and breastfeeding and shes underweight, now my obgyn put me on seasonique birth control 3 months ago (she knows im breastfeeding), so in a baby magazine it was talking about post-pregnancy birth control and it said you couldnt take that one while breastf eeding, then i read the label on my meds and it said “DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICATION WHILE BREASTFEEDING, IT IS EXCRETED INTO BREAST MILK” so freaking out i called my obgyn and she told me that warning labels are sometimes exaggerated, my husband says shes just covering her butt and to stop taking it immediatly because it could harm my baby, im unsure what to do now.
in rare cases this drug has led to breast enlargement and jaundice in infants. That’s what you need to look out for.
Studies have shown that the hormones in birth control pills pass through breast milk in low amounts. These tiny amounts are probably too low to cause any significant problems in breastfeeding infants. However, there have been cases of problems (such as breast enlargement and jaundice) in babies whose mothers took certain types of combined oral contraceptives while breastfeeding.
More importantly, combined contraceptives may decrease the production and quality of breast milk. For this reason, healthcare providers almost always recommend progestin-only oral contraceptives (also known as “mini-pills”) instead of combined contraceptives for women who are breastfeeding. However, progestin-only contraceptive pills are usually less effective than combined contraceptives. As soon as you stop breastfeeding, it may be a good idea to ask your healthcare provider about switching to a combined contraceptive product such as Seasonique.

35 weeks pregnant and gained 42 pounds?!?! Success stories after Baby please!?
I went to the doctor today, and when I went the staircase was, I have gained 42 pounds (oops). I know it's recommended weight gain about 25-35 kilos, and I tried like crazy to meet the guidelines. My doctor is not worried. I'm taller than average (5'10 "), had a healthy weight before pregnancy, and both my blood pressure and sugar in the blood were normal. I however, some tone in the legs and arms. I've been retaining water like crazy, however, especially the last two weeks. Does anyone has gained over 40 pounds and managed to lose weight in a decent amount of time (as in 6 months or less)? I need inspiration I can back my way pregnancy before one day .. Thanks girls:)
Seriously do not worry. 42 pounds, especially in its height and the fact that you were a healthy weight to begin with not very large. I worry if I had to say 60 pounds and have blood pressure issues or blood sugar or unhealthy eating. My pregnancy has lasted 34 weeks, but I won more than 35 pounds, so it is reasonable to assume that I learned more than 40 weeks later. My daughter on the anniversary of 6 months, weighed less than my weight before pregnancy. I doing this, that the options were actually good for my daughter (my weight loss was just a lovely side effect): # 1: that only breastfed. It was hard at first, but with support, education, and stick to it, we got through the most difficult and continued his chest, there is no formula. In addition to the multitude of health problems, we have reduced our exposure to foods by formula, about 500 calories left for my breastfeeding on day. # 2: I put in an envelope or a scarf and walk as soon as I recovered from the birth. Move, as they say, is good for the baby due to a better connection (Favoring breastfeeding, even if not at the same time), better sleep (some babies take forever to fall asleep any other reasons average) and others can read. And fresh air is good for everyone! The extra weight of carrying the baby in a sling or means you burn more calories, but her arms and back not hurt to keep the baby in her arms. Usually walk to the grocery store with the baby in a sling, and use the stroller in a shopping cart and push grocery bags in the car home. This exercise provides extra. # 3: Visit Yoga Mom and baby. I did not take a class, could not mean, but I found with a book and do the exercises, which helped the tone. # 4: Drink lots of water. Because of the abundance, I mean a minimum of 2.5 liters per day. It usually takes 3 or more liters per day. Get a couple of bottles of water of good quality, and proximity to the station where you sit with the baby to a nurse (there may be times when Feeling trapped by a nurse or a baby finally sleeping or exhaustion). # 5: Stock now healthy snacks like granola bars (check sugar content, make sure that there are glorified candy), nuts, crackers, etc. and keep them hidden in water bottles. Grazing throughout the day is not a good way end hunger and overeating. # 6: Remember that you will need more calories, and that even with these growing needs, breastfeeding is best, not only for your baby, but to lose weight! ————- Actually, not really stress about it. 42 pounds is not so bad. Is we have a healthy diet and you'll be fine.

How can you start a home pregnancy testing kit?
How long I can try? Well, first they need know how the test. In short: the pregnancy test (HPT) works by detecting a hormone called human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG.) When an egg is fertilized, it takes about 6-12 days to implant in the uterus, and then begins to secrete hCG. It takes a day or two for enough hCG to build and their way into the urine. So, in general, the sooner you can expect a positive HPT is eight days of the past ovulation ("DPO") and the last is 16 DPO. You can get a positive result sooner or later, but not so frequent. In my experience, if you use a sensitive "early" test (any thing that detects 25 mIU / mL hCG or less) you can try all 12.14 RPD and feels reasonably confident in your results (the test later, you, the more secure that feel in its accuracy.) If you need a card or fertility in any way, and you think you've designed, you must wait 19 days (or more) after unprotected sexual event. Why 19?! Sperm can live approximately 5 days in an appropriate environment, if the sperm managed to live up to what you have missed an egg the design could take place several days after intercourse has no sperm. To do so does not prove too early, assume the sperm had a life very long (5 days is considered a very long sperm life) and that conception occurred then. After 14 days for the embryo to implant and is developed enough to show hCG pregnancy test (96% of pregnant women have a positive outcome of that date.) http://www.peeonastick.com/hptfaq.html

Is it possible for pregnancy test to work for dogs/cats too?
We want to find out if my friends dog is prego. I dont know if dog hormones would be easily detected from any kind of testing kit you can buy just anywhere but would be great if this might work.
Nope, wouldn’t work. A human pregnancy kit will only work for humans. Take the dog to the vet to find out. And if it’s not too late, schedule a spay abort. There’s enough backyard bred dogs overpopulating the planet.

PreSeed Pregnancy Tests?
Has anyone ordered PreSeed online and received their pregnancy tests? Can you tell me how to use it and interpret the results? They’re these little plastic strips with no instructions. I used one and got a pink line with faint pink shading up to the point of the line. Not knowing what this meant, I had my dh pee on the other one!! He got the same pink line but had no pink shading. I’m two days late and have been trying to self-treat a short luteal phase with vitamins and natural progesterone cream but only for the most recent cycle. I felt sure that it would take longer to regulate my cycle than just a month and had kind of written-off my TTC (though we BD’d plently!) but now my luteal phase is 11 days and counting, no period, my basal temps are still up and I think I see a triphasic pattern to my temperature chart. So I’m hoping!
So after all that info, can anyone help me interpret these crazy pregnancy tests??
Are the tests AimStick Professional brand? If so, I believe that you’re seeing a positive result. Here is the website I found on interpreting results: http://www.babyhopes.com/pregstripinfo.html. Good luck!

What is the best pregnancy body pillow?
I was looking at the Snoogle All Nighter Total Body Pregnancy Pillow by Leachco…Has anyone ever used it? Or used a Snoogle pregnancy pillow? (if you have please be specific as to which one) I have HORRIBLE hip and back pain (left side only) to the point where I can’t bend even a little nor sit or lay..never mind sleep. I am going to be setting up a massage appointment but I need advice on which pillow to get (not just a regular body pillow)
Thanks!!
Which snoogle is it? The All Nighter Total Body Pregnancy Pillow or just the Total Body pillow?
I used the snoogle total body pillow and LOVED it!! I even used it for a little while after my son was born.
One thing I would recommend is to get a cover for it. Mine got a little “pilled” from sleeping on it so much. Also, it got a little bit flattened.
My husband thought it was a little “anti-social” as you’re pretty wrapped up in it and it leaves little room for snuggling, but at least I was comfortable enough to sleep.
