is an earlier ultrasound more accurate than one given later in pregnancy in determining due date?
I had an ultrasound early in my pregnancy and I was told I was 5 weeks along. The week before that when I would have been 4 weeks, my doc felt my uterus and said she thought I was 6 weeks along. At around 10 weeks, I had another ultrasound and the tech said that it looked like I was 11.5 weeks along but they had to go with the original due date. I know it probably doesn’t sound that important, but I really want to have this baby now. My due date is Aug. 5th.
I would not even go by the ultrasounds… they were three weeks off with me and not to mention they are not even completely accurate with the size of babies… they can be up to two pounds off! stick with what your dr said your due date is.
